    DESCRIPTION:
Oyster mushroom is the most cultivated species of the genus oyster. It is extremely convenient for cultivation because of its simplicity to the climatic conditions and tenacious mycelium, suitable for storage.
Distribution: Oyster mushroom grows on dead wood and weakened trees, preferring deciduous species. Mass fruiting, usually celebrated in September-October, although under favorable conditions may appear in May. Oyster mushroom bravely fighting with frost, leaving behind almost all edible mushrooms, except for the winter Armillaria (Flammulina velutipes). "Nesting" the principle of the formation of fruiting bodies virtually guarantees high productivity.
The oyster mushroom in cooking being used mostly at a young age.
Mushroom is a valuable product for food use, it is low in calories, it contains the most substances that are necessary for the body, so the oyster mushroom is also called a mushroom diet.
    Package includes about 100 seeds
    HOW TO PLANT:
The preparation of seeds is the most important part of the planting process. The result depends on how you have prepared the seeds.
Oyster mushroom spawn is mixed with the substrate material (often straw or sawdust, but a range of other materials can also be used; cardboard, coffee grounds, toilet paper, leaves and grass clippings, wood chips, and logs, straw, egg cartons). This growing medium is then usually placed into bags with small holes or air filters in them for air exchange. The bags are then placed in a warm (20-24C/68F-75F) darkroom to incubate and begin the first phase of growth. Only 10-14 days are needed for the spawn to grow a full web of root-like threads of mycelium and colonize the growing substrate. Once the growing medium is fully colonized by the spawn, it is time for the mushrooms to start fruiting. The bags are exposed to autumn-like conditions with fresh oxygen, high humidity, low-level light & often cooler temperatures. This signals to the mycelium that it's time to start producing mushrooms and small pins begin to emerge. Oyster mushroom pins begin to emerge from holes in the bag Fed by water and nutrients from the mycelium, these tiny pins then rapidly grow and develop into full-size mushrooms in just 5-7 days. A crop of mushrooms can be harvested three times before the mycelium becomes exhausted, with a new crop of mushrooms manifesting every 7-14 days during this time.  In other words, it takes about just 5-8 weeks to grow 3 crops of Oyster mushrooms...and all this can be done with minimal equipment or expertise. Amateur cultivation of mycorrhizal and other soil mushrooms doesn’t give a guaranteed result as the harvest of mushrooms strongly depends on the weather and many other factors. Attention! A significant factor for the successful cultivation of mushrooms is the acidity of the soil. The optimum pH is between 6.7 - 6.9.
