Brand new, genuine Volvo Penta BRASS temperature sending unit. This is a factory original equipment part, not aftermarket. The Aluminum is shown just to show how hard it is to tell them apart.
WARNING!!! There are items on eBay that meet the specs for the sensor but are made out of aluminum!!!! They will work in a closed cooling system found on cars but NOT BOATS!!! You would be pretty much adding a "sacrificial zinc" to your T-sat housing...... Great if you want to sink your boat....!
